My experience with GlassesShop.com

Image
Hello everyone! I was recently offered the opportunity to choose a pair of eyeglasses from GlassesShop.com to try out and review.   Ive always wondered how  ordering glasses online  would compare to the ones offered at the ophthalmologists office, so I jumped at the opportunity.  GlassesShop.com offers  prescription glasses  and prescription sunglasses  for much cheaper prices than those offered at the ophthalmologists.   As far as selection, GlassesShop.com cant be beaten.  They offer a wide selection of styles and colours .   If you do not  need prescription glasses and want to wear glasses as a fashion  accessory ,  you can also buy many pairs without prescription lenses.   The site also offers a tool that   allows  you to virtually try on glasses by uploading your photo.  Its a great option for someone unsure of what shape would look best on them.   I chose the  GrandPra...

Heavy contour:  Contouring has been around for years but it reached new heights in 2015 with techniques like clown contouring .   Waist trainers:   While many believe that wearing a waist trainer will help them get an hour glass shape, the results are only temporary and can cause some health problems.  Overdrawn...

Image
Hello everyone! Choosing  bridesmaid dresses  is a crucial yet stressful part of every wedding.  What looks great on one of your bridesmaid might not work for the other ladies.  Instead of stressing out about finding one dress and shade that will fit everyone, why not let them all look a little different?   Bridesmaid style has come a long way in the last few years.  Gone are the days of everyone wearing the same dress.  More and more brides are letting their bridesmaids choose their own dresses because they want their maids to feel good about what they're wearing .  And it's a fact of life that not everyone has an identical body type.  Today, brides are mixing it up by having bridesmaids wear dresses with different styles, fabrics, and colours that make it way more interesting and fun.  This trend highlights each individual woman's style and ensure she is wearing a dress that makes her feel g...

Strobing | The "anti-contouring"

Image
Hello everyone! For those who don't like contouring and those who never quite figured out how to contour, meet " strobing".   B asically strobing is an  "anti-contouring" technique .   Strobing uses highlighter to bring out your features and helps you achieve a dewy and neutral look.  This technique  uses light to shape your face rather than contouring which primarily uses shadows.   Typically we pair highlighting with contouring but highlight is quite beautiful on its own, especially in the summer months.  How to get the look: With strobing, you simply apply a generous amount of highlighter in the inner corners of your eyes, under your brow bones, the tops of your cheekbones, your temples, your Cupids bow, the bridge of your nose and anywhere the light naturally hits your face and then blend .  The key is to find a liquid or powder highlighter that compliments your skin tone. Do you prefer strobing over highlighting and counturing? ...

Nails Of The Day (NOTD): Essence "the gel nail polish" - #lucky

Image
Hello everyone! Long wearing nail polishes are a huge trend right now, may that be gel polishes with or   without the use of LED or UV lamps .  And that's precisely what   Essence   brought on the market.  I am a little obsessed with new   Essence "the gel nail polish"  trio lately.  I own 3 shades already, and out of my three this one is definitely my favourite (at the moment).  I am wearing   09 #lucky   and I can honestly say that in combination with base and top coat, the gel polish stays longer on my nails than any other polish. First I applied one coat of   base coat , which dries really quickly, and has a matte finish.  Then I applied one coat of   #lucky   and followed with a coat of   top coat .  That's all;  the nails are given an extreme, long-lasting gel-shine finish without the need for an LED or UV lamp.   The top coat gives that gel-l...

Taylor's Wonderland eyebrows

Image
Hello everyone! Have you seen the latest   Wonderland   cover yet?  Everyone is talking about Taylor's eyebrows.  She went for a totally different look on the cover of  Wonderland   magazine (Nov-Dec issue) , rocking darker, bolder brows.  Its kind of amazing how eyebrows can change a persons entire appearance.  Sure, Taylor's skin looks way tanner than her natural fair skin-tone but, its really her dark, bold brows that completely transform her face.   Overall, its a big change for Taylor, who usually has fair eyebrows, like she sported on the cover of  British Vogue  magazine (November issue) .   What do you think of Taylor Swifts look?  Are you a fan?   I just LOVE bold brows.   Share your thoughts below!
